Adric- 5th level rogue all Craftsman skills carries a few silver dagger low level scroll/potion Adric calls together a party. "I'm the merchant son of Sir Fenwyck. He was found guilty of conspiring with Duke Aleric Dragonhart and was sentenced to death. I swear he didn't do it. And he didn't resurect (wahhh) I would like to hire you to retrieve the family crest from my father's tomb. He died a few weeks ago. I have been looking through the things that he willed to me and I couldn't find our family crest. It is seated on an amulet that he wore around his neck. It is very valuable to me." Adric doesn't want to go to the tomb himself. The memory of his father is too great for him (he says).(wahhh) He tells the party that he had a Ward key for the tomb which is permanently warded, but he gave that key to a party who went to search the tomb last night for him "and they haven't come back!" He is willing to take the party to the family tholos tomb. encounter 2 the party with Adric goes to the tomb. froma distance away Adric says "Hey, thats the party I hired last night... wait... they don't look too healthy... kinda pale.." He doesn't go any closer. When the party approaches, Adric runs to a VERY safe place.. says" I'll hide here" The monsters at the tomb entrance are 4 zombies. They WERE Adric's party from last night. Zombies: Healing does double damage. Necromancy heals double. can't be waylayed, charmed, poisoned, diseased, slept they move slow, but not fight slow cannot parry damage as per weapons (nothing special on weapons) all have 15 hit points total 1 repeats "go away" 2 repeats "resistance is futile" 3 repeats "Leave Sir Fenwycks tomb" 4 repeats "Adric sucks eggs" On their persons is: weapons are worth money. ward key map from the tavern to Tomb encounter 3 (Lord?)belog - 6th level celestial caster 6 body 73 bp 6 body + 2 shield + 4 greater shield + armour + magic armour +shield magic read/write 3 read magic 4 armorsmith 4 4 1st 8 3 magic missiles 4 2nd 8 1 detect magic, 1 magic armour 4 3rd 16 4 shatters 3 4th 12 2 flame bolts 2 5th 12 1 6th 6 lightning storm 1x ever create undead (was 5x ever) amulet carries candles, matches duplicate ward key After opening the ward with the key, and opening the door, they see Belog asleep on the floor. If they move him, or make too much noise he will wake (was slept with a trap and then slept normally the whole night.) Belog looks exactly like Adric but with different clothing and acts similarly. When he wakes he says "look out for traps". Tries to talk the party into fetching the amulet for him. Claims to be Adric. If unsuccessful, say "Adric is my evil twin. He lied to you, he didn't tell you about me did you? lies, he cheats he steals, he's a menace to society! he snores! he smells! he never shares the toys! Both of us came here last night. He tricked me into going inside and setting off this trap. The he made those EEEVVIILL undead outside to keep me in!" If the party is friendly, Belog asks the party to retrieve the real amulet from their dad's neck. "I'm not too good at traps, as you can see. I'll exchange it for this magic item. I don't know what it does though" (yes he does!) Daddy doesn't have any traps on him but there's traps near him. He has the amulet around his neck. The skeleton in the main room comes alive when they touch Daddy. Attacks anyone in view. In the other bays are dead bodies played by NPC's they are trapped a little. Skeleton Stats: 15 body, 1/2 damage from blades. +1 strength (?) weapon damage +1 no metabolism no mind no effect no kill kill kill
